Ever since I had my interview with Liara Covert, I have been remembering my dreams pretty much every night. (Thank you, Liara! I don’t know what you did, but thank you!) The dreaming mind amazes me. When I was talking to my dad the other day, we were talking about the dreaming mind and how we can do so many things while we are dreaming that we supposedly cannot do while we are awake. Why is that? In Dad’s book, Riding The Wild Orb, he talks with his channel spirit, “Mr. B” and they talk about how there is less magnetic strength right now and, because of that, we are more easily able to access our intuitive understanding. I am really looking forward to these next few years. I so much appreciate my work with Cirkla because it has given me the base by which to work closely with other people to unravel this mysterious time that we are living in. I also really appreciate both of my parents for giving me such a great background in new thought.
Have you noticed a change in your intuitive abilities or greater consciousness in the last few years? Does it seem to be increasing more quickly?
I had a thought the other day… I was talking with a friend of mine and he mentioned teleportation. Well, I suppose since Star Trek is back on the scene again this word is getting thrown around a bit, but how much more fitting it is now than it was in the 70s… After all, didn’t we used to marvel at their little walkie-talkie devices that they used to use to talk to each other? Are we still marveling at the idea of teleportation or have we arrived? That is debateable.
In another conversation, with a different individual, we were talking about the atom and how the neutron of the atom is such an infintesimal part of the atom itself and how most of the space taken up in the atom is just space. We went into the molecular structure of water and how it can be affected by our intentions. (See Dr. Masaru Emoto’s video on water)
Then I had a thought… if we are essentially just energy, and our bodies are really radio receivers (see James O’Dea’s interview with Theater of the Mind) then really… what is to stop us from simply changing the channel? This could work in a number of ways… we may already be doing it.
Each moment, we are faced with decisions that affect our “future” selves. How many times have we made a decision to change something and then felt like a different person because of it? When I was in college, I did a paper on multiple personalities. There have been documented cases of people with multiple personalities who have actually grown scars and changed hair color when they shifted to a different personality. I would be curious to know now if there have been further studies done to check the DNA of these unique individuals to find if they have also shifted the very DNA structure?
Obviously, teleportation is a little different than that, but fundamentally we are talking about similar principles. If we can alter our experience, then who is to say that we can’t just create a different geographic experience? In fact, the other day when I was interviewing Liara we were talking about astral travel and dream walking. How is that different than our daytime experiences? We assume that one is more real than another, but is it? If we are capable of dream walking while sleeping, who is to say that we cannot do it while awake?
Just some things to consider… if you have any ideas to add, please comment! We would love to hear from you!
Last week, I interviewed Liara Covert on the Cirkla Radio Show. Liara likes to help people with their dreams on her blog, Dreambuilders.com.au. On her blog, she has a weekly segment called the Dream Analysis of the Week where she helps people to analyze their dreams. People can send in their dreams – either through comments or through the Contact page on her site and once a week she posts one of the dreams that she has analyzed. I love her approach – she tries to be very objective, allowing space for each person’s unique beliefs and circumstances to shape the definitions.
Liara also has a book out called Self-Disclosure: Changes from Within where she tells the story of her own spiritual journey in hopes that sharing her story will give her readers insight into recognizing their own.
Liara is also working on second book – the second one is about dreams. Stay tuned for more information on that one! In the meantime, you can check out her 10 Tips for Total (Dream) Recall or read up on her many posts on astral travel.
Another blogger that writes about dreams is Jay Frawley. Jay has written a 9-part blog series called the Inner Noodle Guide to Dream Analysis. In this series, Jay goes in depth into tips and suggestions to help readers delve deeper into the world of dreaming.
I hope that these resources are useful to you. If you have any suggestions for other blogs that may be interesting to read that may have something to do with these sorts of topics, I am always curious to know. Please add a comment below and tell us about your experiences.
