I just got off the phone with Jan Lundy. I will be interviewing her for the Cirkla Radio Show this Wednesday. Jan is an enigmatic being that keeps popping up in interesting places in my life so it was a real treat to get to speak with her today for the first time in some depth.
Jan has a book out called Your Truest Self. It is a collection of stories about women that have made a significant contribution to the world through acts of selflessness, courage and depth. Jan’s slant on these stories and how these women have affected her own path to self-discovery is an integral part of what makes this book very unique and special.
As I spoke with Jan today, I realized that our truest self is often times much greater than we dare to present to the world, but that we so often gain more access to it in the presence of others that support our growth. Jan is doing some terrific work in supporting the growth of many in her work. Be sure and check out her contribution on The Bold Life with Tess Marshall and a chance to win a copy of her book!

Amy – I will Stumble this and the interview once it is up. As you know, I am a huge fan of Jan’s! – Lisa
Thanks so much, Lisa! I am really looking forward to having you in the Mastermind group! It is going to be so fun!
Amy,
I’m really looking forward to our conversation. I will post on my blog about it too. And I am so pleased my book is speaking to YOUR truest self.
I chuckled when you said I was enigmatic. I guess that is true. I am a public person in that I write and speak, yet I guard my personal life a bit (my family, anyway) though I am often very transparent about this life journey we are on … especially all the ways each of us falls down and skins our knees. I like to think of it as “spiritual amnesia.” We know what we are supposed to do to be calm, clear, and wise, yet we don’t do always do it. Oh, that pesky ego!
I am also a contemplative person and guard my silent time, my solitudinous existence, with a passion. It is a lifestyle that allows the Muse to visit regularly! Thank goodness!
So, here’s to Wednesday, and our kindred journeys. Blessings all around. Jan
Thanks, Jan! I said that you were enigmatic because it is mysterious how you always seem to pop up just at the perfect times! Yes, we will have fun on Wednesday!
